Attended Millikin University and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education. She later earned a Master's Degree in Physical Education and Sports Science from Ball State University. At Millikin she was a 3rd team All-American, was named Final Four Outstanding Player, and finished her career with 1,132 points, and 796 rebounds. She played on the 2005 National Championship team and was inducted into the Millikin University Hall of Fame in 2013. She was later inducted into the IBCA Hall of Fame as a member of the 2005 Women's Basketball team. Her coaching career has included assistant coaching positions at Manchester College, the University of St. Frnacis, and her alma mater Millikin.
